Items of note for the Rural Municipality of Belfast for the month of February 2022:
February/March Council Meetings On!
Unfortunately, due to new Provincial Covid Restrictions, the January Council meeting was canceled. We understand that we will however, be able to hold our February and March Council meetings as scheduled. Attendees must be fully vaccinated, wear a mask and practice 6-foot distancing measures. The meeting hall has a capacity of 21 attendees (7 Council, 3 Staff, and 11 Public) – The meetings will be held on February 16th and March 16th @ 7pm at the Wood Islands Village Meeting Hall.

2022/2023 Community Grants Applications Now Available!
RMB will be awarding $65,000 this fiscal year to worthy organizations striving for the participation and betterment of our Municipality.
Applications are available on-line, or you can pick them up at the Municipal Office.

Notice of Budget/Financial Discussions!
Every year, RMB holds public discussions that helps Council determine the Budget/Financial Plan for the upcoming Fiscal Year. Two public sessions will be held on Feb. 16th and Mar. 16th, during regular Council meetings. Due to Covid restrictions, space for attendees is limited. That said, RMB is also encouraging anyone who wishes to provide comments to Council to submit those comments by email to: ruralmunicipalityofbelfast@gmail.com.
